OYF Treasure Hunt 2012

Take a fun walk round Sonning Common and find answers to clues which will challenge your powers of observation!

Think you know the village well? - we guarantee you'll discover something new!
Choose from two Treasure Hunts, or combine it with a cycle ride (discount applies).

Both Treasure Hunts use the same format, the first one has been designed with young children in mind - just over a mile, and about one hour to complete. The longer Treasure Hunt includes all the clues in the shorter one, and should take around two hours to complete, covering over 3 miles.

There’s no set route, you'll be given a map indicating where to find the answers to a bunch of clues, and you decide which order to tackle them in.

For each Treasure Hunt, the person or team which gets the most answers right will receive a prize!

To enter please register online, or alternatively register by post. Online registration closes 9pm Friday 20th April.

Treasure Hunters can start at any time after 10.30am, but must be back with their answers by 2.30pm. Hot and cold healthy snacks and drinks will be available from 10am until 1.30pm in the school hall.

We have created a short page of useful hints and tips to help those participating. Terms and Conditions apply. Please click here for a map of the area to be included in the scope of the Treasure Hunts.

On another day, if you'd like a sociable walk in the Sonning Common area, whilst increasing your fitness, how about joining a Sonning Common Health Walk?

If you enjoy Treasure Hunts you'll undoubtedly enjoy Curious About walks in UK towns and cities.
